Respecting the Valley
We are a friendly, non nonsense Team. Welcoming and happy to help, and expect visitors to be respectful and follow the simple site rules. We want everyone to enjoy the peace, the views, and the fresh Derbyshire air!
Quiet Hours
We are a peaceful, family-oriented site.
Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:30 AM.
Four-Legged Friends
We love dogs! To protect our local wildlife and nearby livestock:
Please keep dogs on a short lead at all times while on the campsite.
Always pick up after your pet immediately—bins are provided.
Breed Policy: Please note that we are unable to accept breeds listed under the UK Dangerous Dogs Act or any currently restricted breeds.
Fire & BBQs
Safety and the environment are our priorities:
Raised Fire Pits: Fire Pits are available to hire from our shop
BBQs: Please use stands or bricks to ensure hot coals do not scorch the turf. Never leave a fire or BBQ unattended. Disposable BBQs are not allowed
Vehicle Movement
To keep the site safe for everyone:
Please observe a 5 mph speed limit throughout the five fields.
Minimize vehicle movement please park in the designated car parks to help preserve the grass areas for camping.
Keep it Green (National Park Guidelines)
Waste: Please use the designated recycling and waste bins provided.
Chemical Waste: Only empty chemical toilets at the marked disposal points.
Leave No Trace: Please leave your pitch as clean as you found it.
