We believe that camping should be as comfortable as it is adventurous. Our modern shower and toilet blocks are designed to provide a warm, bright, and welcoming space for all our guests to freshen up after a day on the fells.
Modern Comforts
Warm & Well-Lit: Every block is designed to be bright and cozy, ensuring a pleasant experience at any time of day.
Newly Refurbished: We take pride in our recently updated shower block areas, keeping everything fresh and meticulously clean.
Essentials covered: Each shower and toilet block is heated, has automatic lights and hand dryers. Each shower cubical has hooks for your towels / shower bag and there is plently of space around the sinkss. The ladies shower block also has 2 hair dryers
Accessible for All: We provide dedicated disabled-access facilities to ensure every guest can enjoy a comfortable and inclusive stay. concrete ramp access and is configured as one wet room with one shower, toilet, sink, grab rails and bins.
Family Focused: For family space the Assessible wet-room is perfect. One large wet room with everything you need including a babychange unit.
Kind to the Environment: Part of our eco-ethos means being mindful of what goes down our drains. The sink area is conveniently located next to the main facilities for all your washing needs.
Sustainable Washing: We provide eco-friendly washing products at our sink stations and encourage their use to help protect our local soil and waterways.
Support the Valley: By using these biodegradable products, you’re helping us maintain the delicate balance of the Peak District ecosystem.
Muddy Boots & Paw Prints
Located right outside the main blocks, you’ll find our handy wash points:
Dog & Boot Wash: The perfect spot for hosing down your four-legged friends or rinsing off your wellies and boots after a day of adventures.
Elsan
To keep your stay running smoothly, we provide clean and easy-to-access Elsan facilities for the safe and hygienic disposal of chemical waste.
GAMES ROOM
Our large communal Mam Tor Games Room has a lovely history — originally used as a classroom for the Girl Guides, we have re-purposed and re-vamped this space to create a welcoming heart for the campsite. Whether you’re looking to escape a drizzle or find a social spot for the evening, The Hub is open in all weathers.
Indoor Fun & Games
Inside, you’ll find plenty to keep the whole family entertained. It’s the perfect place to challenge your neighbors to a friendly tournament:
Action & Skill: Try your hand at Table Tennis, Pool, Air Hockey, Table Football, or have a go at the Dartboard.
The Book Swap: Browse our collection of Books and DVDs, or settle in with one of our many Board Games. If you finish a book during your stay, feel free to swap it for another!
Outdoor Adventures
When the Derbyshire sun is shining, we have a selection of classic outdoor games available for use on our 10-acre site:
Family Classics: Borrow our Boules, Rounders, or Soft Tennis sets for some fun in the fresh air.
Local Activities: Check the notice board in the room for the latest availability and adventures with our local partners, Active Outdoor.

We know that the “camp chores” are much easier when you have a great space to do them! Our dedicated washing-up area is designed to be a social, bright, and practical hub for all our guests.
Everything You Need in One Spot
Conveniently located right next to the shower blocks and the dog/boot wash, our facilities area is the perfect place to clean up after a day of exploring the valley.
Space for Everyone: With five deep sinks available, there is plenty of room even during the busier breakfast and dinner rushes.
Food Prep Area: We’ve included a dedicated food preparation space, giving you a flat, clean surface to prep your ingredients before heading back to the stove or BBQ.
All-Weather Ready: To keep you dry during a passing shower, the entire area is fully undercover.
Evening Ready: The station is well-lit, so whether you’re rinsing out a coffee pot at dawn or finishing the dinner dishes under the stars, you’ll have a clear view of what you’re doing.
Our Eco Ethos
At Hope Valley Holidays, we are passionate about protecting the beautiful National Park that surrounds us.
To support our eco-friendly mission, we strongly encourage the use of eco-friendly washing products. These biodegradable formulas ensure that we aren’t introducing harsh chemicals into our local drainage and soil.
Forgot your eco-soap? No problem! We have a selection of high-quality eco products available for purchase in the campsite shop.

DOG-FRIENDLY STAYS
We know that for many of our guests, a holiday isn’t a holiday without their four-legged best friends. We are a dog-friendly site and love welcoming well-behaved pups to explore the Hope Valley alongside you.
To keep the site safe and enjoyable for everyone (and for our local farm animals!), we have a few simple guidelines for our canine visitors:
Life on the Lead
Safety First: We ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times (maximum 2m length) while on the campsite.
Breed Policy: Please note that we are unable to accept breeds listed under the UK Dangerous Dogs Act or any currently restricted breeds.
The Glenbrook “Dog Spa”
Forget fancy grooming parlors—your dogs will love our natural version!
Splashing Around: Running right through our site is the beautiful Glenbrook, which flows down to the River Noe.
Fun All Year: Accessible at two different points on the campsite, it’s a wonderful, natural play area for dogs to cool off and splash around in throughout the year.
Handy Doggy Facilities
We’ve made it easy to keep your pup (and your tent!) clean and happy:
The Dog Wash: Located just outside the shower blocks, our Dog Wash points are perfect for hosing down four-legged friends (and your own muddy boots!) after a day of Peak District adventures.
Dedicated Dog Area: Towards the back of the site, you’ll find a small fenced area specifically for use as a dog toilet. We provide dedicated bins here for dog waste to keep the rest of the fields pristine.
Forgot the Bags? Don’t worry! Dog bags are available to pick up at the campsite shop.
